Dalmia Computers Privacy Policy

1. Scope and contact

This policy applies to Dalmia Computers website, customer and member accounts, loyalty and referral features, quotations, enquiries, jobsheets, service and warranty records, orders, support interactions and authorized third-party integrations. Dalmia Computers: Bikash Bhawan, Near ICICI Bank, Ranchi Road, Purulia, West Bengal 723101. Email: dalmiacomputers@gmail.com. Phone: +91 9734290001.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the feature used, we may process name, mobile number, email, address, product/device and service details, account and membership identifiers, transaction/service history, consent choices, technical/security logs, and information a user or authorized business administrator chooses to provide. We minimize fields by purpose where practical. Do not send passwords, OTPs, banking PINs, API keys, client secrets or unnecessary sensitive information through public forms or chat.

3. Membership information

Membership registration is separate from a general contact enquiry. When a customer chooses membership, the program may use verified or operational customer identifiers to maintain one membership relationship, connect eligible transaction/service history, calculate loyalty points, prevent duplicate records and support account security, redemption, disputes and audit.

4. Mobile-only referral information collected indirectly

A member can reserve a referral by entering only another person's valid Indian mobile number inside the authenticated member portal. Because that mobile may be supplied by the referrer rather than directly by the referred person, Dalmia Computers limits this data to the referral purpose: reserving first-valid attribution, preventing duplicate or self-referral claims, matching a later first-party customer transaction, calculating or reversing an eligible reward, preventing abuse, and resolving a verified dispute.

The referrer's portal shows the referred mobile in masked form and does not expose the referred person's purchase amount. The portal does not ask the referrer to provide the referred person's name, email address or postal address. Authorized backend processes and appropriately authorized staff may use the exact mobile where necessary to perform the referral and transaction function.

A referred or contact-synced mobile is not added to a general marketing list merely because another member reserved or uploaded it. Contact upload/sync reserves first-referrer attribution only; sending any referral invitation requires separate explicit contact selection, permission confirmation, suppression check and daily budget control. Dalmia Computers does not send promotional messages to the referred person solely on the basis of a referral reservation. If that person later contacts, visits, purchases from, registers with or otherwise interacts with Dalmia Computers, the information provided or generated in that interaction is handled under the normal customer purpose, notices and applicable choices.

5. Referral attribution and reward records

The referral system may retain claim time, referrer/member identifiers, masked-display information, first-valid attribution state, activation time, reward accruals, reversals and audit events. A claim submitted after a sale is not used to create a retroactive reward for that sale. Refunds, returns and cancellations can generate compensating records so the reward history remains reconcilable.

6. Google Sign-In

Google Sign-In is optional. When a customer chooses it, Dalmia Computers uses only the identity information necessary to authenticate or link the customer account, such as the Google account identifier, name, email address and email-verification status made available by the selected identity scopes. Google Sign-In does not by itself provide access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, passwords, payment information or unrelated Google Account content. The Google identity token is validated for sign-in and is not used as a reusable credential for unrelated Google APIs.

Dalmia Computers' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

7. YouTube API Services

When an authorized user enables a YouTube-related business feature, Dalmia Computers may use YouTube API Services for approved channel workflows such as reading permitted channel/video information, uploading or managing authorized business content, or retrieving permitted reporting information. We do not request or store a user's YouTube/Google password.

Use of YouTube-connected features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy. Users may revoke Google/YouTube authorization through their Google account controls.

8. Social-media and creative integrations

Where enabled, Dalmia Computers may connect provider accounts such as Meta/Facebook, Instagram (strictly for business publishing and never for customer authentication), YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X or other approved business channels using the provider's official authorization or API mechanism. We request only scopes needed for the selected feature. Depending on authorization, the system may identify managed business accounts/pages, prepare or publish approved content, and retrieve permitted engagement or account metadata. Provider access tokens and secrets are confidential and are not intentionally exposed on public pages.

9. AI-assisted processing

Approved AI services may assist authorized staff with drafting, summarization, creative concepts, product text, support text and internal analysis. Data minimization applies. Passwords, OTPs, payment PINs, client secrets, API keys and unnecessary sensitive personal information must not be submitted to AI prompts. AI output is assistive and may require human review before customer-facing, publishing, financial, legal, pricing or service decisions.

10. How information is used

Information is used to authenticate users, provide requested customer and business features, operate membership/loyalty/referral functions, process transactions and service/support requests, operate authorized integrations, prevent fraud and duplicate records, secure systems, maintain required business records, resolve disputes and improve reliability and accessibility. We do not sell provider access tokens or use Google identity data for unrelated targeted advertising.

11. Sharing

We may share the minimum necessary information with service providers acting for Dalmia Computers, manufacturers or authorized service channels for a customer-requested case, professional advisers or authorities where legally required, or a successor organization subject to applicable safeguards. Third-party providers also process data under their own terms and privacy policies when users authorize their services. Referral data is not shared with the referrer beyond the masked/status/reward view necessary for their own program record.

12. Retention, referral duration and deletion

Personal and provider-linked data is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the feature, security, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other applicable purpose. A reserved referral mobile may be retained while the referral program and first-valid attribution purpose remain active so a later eligible transaction can be matched; it is not retained as a marketing lead solely because it was referred. Activated referral and reward ledger records may need longer retention to preserve transaction, refund, accounting, fraud or dispute history.

After a verified eligible deletion request, locally controlled data is deleted or irreversibly anonymized where the applicable purpose and retention requirement no longer justify keeping it. Some transaction, accounting, warranty, security, fraud or dispute records may need to be retained. Protected backup copies may remain until normal backup expiry and are not used for ordinary operations.

Requests can be made through Data Deletion Instructions or Delete Account. We may verify account ownership or the affected mobile identity before acting.

13. Security

We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS/TLS, access controls, least privilege, authentication, masked customer-facing referral views, audit logging, backups and server-side credential handling. No system can guarantee absolute security.

14. Choices, correction and revocation

Users may request access or correction where applicable, revoke optional provider connections from provider controls, choose alternative login methods where available, and request deletion of eligible locally stored information. A member can raise a referral-attribution dispute; an attribution is not silently reassigned in ordinary operation and material corrections should follow a verified and auditable process.

15. Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies, sessions or browser storage may be used for authentication, preferences, form security, carts and reliability. The secure member portal uses session-scoped authentication storage for the browser session. Additional analytics or optional technologies are used only as configured and subject to applicable choices.

16. Children

Our services are primarily intended for customers and business users capable of entering valid transactions or receiving services. We do not knowingly design connected-service or referral features to collect children's personal information without appropriate authorization and applicable safeguards.

17. Indian data-protection framework

Dalmia Computers reviews its personal-data practices against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules/commencement requirements brought into force from time to time, together with other applicable obligations. This policy describes intended operational practices and does not limit any statutory right that cannot lawfully be waived.

18. Changes

This policy may be updated when features, providers, laws or platform requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, where required, additional notice or consent.
